Jacksonville State Blown Out by Belmont 76-53

Jacksonville State allowed Belmont to shoot 63 percent from the field and was blown out by the Bruins 76-53 in conference play on Saturday, Mar. 1. The game was never competitive, as Belmont went up 43-27 at the half and never looked back. With the loss, the Gamecocks remain winless against Belmont this season at 0-2.

Florida is the new number one team in men's basketball, according to the AP Poll, replacing Syracuse who drops to #4.

Jacksonville State visits Eblen Center on Saturday to take on Tennessee Tech. It gets started at 8 p.m. ET. The Gamecocks fell to the Golden Eagles 72-60 on Feb. 8 and are 3-6 against them over the last four years.

Jacksonville State Blown Out by Southeast Missouri State 87-70

On Thursday, Feb. 20, Jacksonville State took on Southeast Missouri State and lost in a blowout to the Redhawks 87-70 in conference play. Darion Rackley put up a team-high 27 points and three rebounds in the Gamecocks loss. Joe Kuligoski got seven points and added eight rebounds.
